SeniorNet Motueka

SeniorNet Motueka commenced operating in July 1998 as part of the nation-wide Federation of SeniorNet Societies.

The aim is to support and motivate people aged 50+ to enjoy and use technology in their everyday lives. We offer small group learning and support with volunteer tutors.

The annual subscription of $20.00 per person falls due in September.

Member's Meetings take place on the first Monday of each month in our Club Room at 42 Pah Street @ 10am. Meetings have a guest speaker and time for discussion and sharing of information during morning tea.

Coffee and Questions take place on the second Monday at 10am.

Help and Support take place third Saturday at 2pm these sessions give members the opportunity to meet in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, and be assisted by our tutors on a hands-on basis.

Courses: Are held over the 4 terms - unless stated otherwise.
They consist of 2-hourly sessions over 4-6 weeks, depending on the course offered. A list of courses being offered each term is emailed to all members well before the start of each term with contact details of the course tutors.
We cater for PC and Apple Mac users.

Course Costs - Varies depending on the course offered. This includes a manual, and tea and coffee. Short 4 week courses cost $20.

Interest Groups - A variety of interest groups are available. Such as Digital Image, Genealogy, iPads, Android tablet and smart phones etc.
