Motueka Community Link

Community Link is both a place, and a way of working. Physically, Motueka Community Link accommodates the local office of Work and Income, as well as a range of government and non governmental organisations who are present on a part or full time basis. The Motueka Community Link is one of a network of similar sites around New Zealand.

Community Link is also a way of working that extends beyond the physical site, to encompass a broad network of social service agencies that are committed to working collaboratively in the interests of their clients and the Motueka community. Community Link is about these agencies working together to affect positive change in the lives of people, their families and their communities.

Regardless of their physical location, partners in Motueka Community Link are joined together by a shared knowledge of each others services and strengths, supported by effective lines of communication and regular and routine exchanges of information.

"Community Links aim to connect people to social services in a way which creates a circle of opportunity
that benefits people, their families and communities"
