In this area of the website, you can access all current and past discussion topics and threads of interest to Motueka's young people, and you can also kick off a new topic for discussion yourself. First, you may want to view the website's editorial policy on the forum here »
People taking part must be locals or have a genuine local interest. Postings are moderated for offensive or libellous material, but otherwise will be uncensored.
Below is a list (in reverse chronological order - latest at the top) of current topic threads. Clicking on a topic leads to a page that leads with the original topic as presented, followed by all comments posted on that thread, with the latest at the bottom (so you can read the whole discussion history downwards), and finishing with a form and email contact that anyone can fill in to add an opinion to the thread.

The Tasman District Council's "Pride of Place - Tasman Graffiti Vandalism Prevention Project" steering group is on the lookout for an artist to deliver the community mural workshops they're planning to run. Motueka Skate Park

The council has allocated some money to the Motueka skate park. What would you like to see it spent on? More jumps and pipes? Better drainage? A reseal of the skatepark?

Ideas for Youth Council

The Motueka Youth Council is looking for ideas of events or projects to work on that will actually benefit youth in Motueka! We're keen to try anything; maybe organise a regular, cheap bus to Nelson or just a fun event... Please give us your thoughts so we can try and do something useful for you guys :)

Safe and unsafe places in Motueka

We the Youth workers at Get Safe Motueka are involved in a PhotoVoices campaign through R.A.P (Respect All People). The idea is that young people take photos around our town of safe and unsafe places. What are your thoughts on some safe and unsafe places in MOT?
