Grey Power Motueka
Grey Power is a voluntary organization founded some 20 years ago to give superannuitants a voice against Government policy affecting their superannuation. You can join this NZ lobby group as soon as you turn 50 and become part of a recognised voice covering issues such as law and order, health services, local body services, redundancies and energy costs.

The Senior Citizens rooms are located behind the Motueka Library, Pah Street. If you are 50 plus you are welcome to come and participate in any of these activities.

Alzheimers Support Services
Alzheimers Nelson provides information and guidance to families affected by dementia through a range of services including individual family support, support groups, an Early Memory Loss group, day care services, and education and seminars. These services are also provided through a group in Motueka.

Strengthening Families
A whole-of-government initiative administered by Family and Community Services. It brings together all the agencies you and your family are working with. Everyone meets together to develop a plan to address all your concerns, instead of you dealing with different agencies separately.

Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower Trust aims to teach people the skills needed to be emotionally and physically safe with others and with themselves. This includes skills such as setting boundaries for better relationships, safety plans to prepare for the unexpected, speaking up for oneself and for others, and self protection to prevent trouble.

Motu Weka Neighbourhood Centre
Offers a community based preschool with quality care for children 3 months to 5 years, OSCAR After School and Holiday Programmes for children 5 to 13 years, and the 60+ Club, a social club for members of the Motueka community aged 60-plus.

The 'home' of a range of services, all set up to provide support to parents and families in the Motueka community. Includes Family/Whanau Support, Acorn Parenting Groups, HIPPY, Sexual Health & Family Planning Clinic, Budget Advice, Get Cooking courses, Mum4mum, Wellbeing programme, and Incredible Years.

Motueka Mentoring Programme
Mentoring is based on the idea that adult friendship can provide the support a child needs to grow and mature in a positive way. Mentoring works by matching an adult volunteer with a young person. This adult then seeks to become an appropriate role model or mentor for that person.

Abbeyfield Motueka
Abbeyfield is a not-for-profit organisation providing companionship and an affordable home for older people. The Abbeyfield Society creates and manages local Abbeyfield Houses providing lonely older people a dignified way of life at a weekly housekeeping charge affordable from state sourced welfare payments or the equivalent.
