Early Childhood Education & Care
Country Kids is a licensed, community owned and managed, Early Childhood Education and Care Service in Upper Moutere. It provides Education and Care for families of children between 0 and 5 years old. The Centre has a family atmosphere where siblings can be together. Being just fifteen minutes from Motueka makes Country Kids a very viable option although most of our children come from rural areas lying south of the Motueka township.
We have three classrooms: Pikopiko - for children under two, Nga whetu - for mixed age but mainly 2 to 3½ year olds, and Just "4" Kids - extension classes for 3½ to 5 years. Families choose to live here for the many benefits the region has to offer and come from many backgrounds and a variety professions.
