Weekly Police Report, up to October 6th

Incidents reported and attended to during the past week:

September 30th:
- Minor assault reported at a Lower Moutere address. Both parties warned.
- Rural burgalry. Green sea chest with brass fitting stolen, contained tools with red paint mark on them.

October 1st:
- Assisted at a family matter in Motueka.

October 2nd:
- Minor accident at the Kumaras car park, female driver of red Honda accord drove off.
- Disorder in Motueka. 21 yr old male served with a police safety order.
- Domestic incident related to above disorder.

October 3rd:
- 65 yr old Motueka female shoplifting. Pre-charge warning issued and trespassed.
- Domestic argument in Motueka.

October 4th:
- Assault at a Motueka address. Male arrested and held in custody for later that day.

October 5th:
- 21 yr old Motueka male driving while disqualified. Car impounded for 28 days.
- 19 yr old Nelson male arrested for unlawfully taking a car stolen in Nelson in July. Car recovered.

October 6th:
- Theft from a car in Motueka. Bulbs stolen from the car - enquiries continuing.
