Weekly Police Report, up to April 5th

Incidents reported and attended to during the past week:

March 31st:
- Domestic assault and attempted kidnapping in Motueka. 25 yr old Nelson male arrested and held in Custody.
- Theft from a car in Marahau, cash stolen.

April 1st:
- 24 yr old Motueka female forbidden to drive.
- Theft from Motueka property. Male intercepted at Picton ferry with the property, also a disqualified driver so vehicle impounded.
- Family domestic incident Motueka.

April 2nd:
- 22 yr old Motueka male driving whilst forbidden, car impounded, court in Nelson.
- Assisted a reported mentally unwell female.

April 3rd:
- Vehicle stolen in Riwaka. Stopped near Karamea on the West Coast and two 20 and 23 yr old motueka males arrested for this and several thefts of petrol in the Motueka area.
- Theft of fuel from Riwaka and Lower Moutere - offenders as in previous report.

April 4th:
- 2 domestic arguments Motueka. Female served with a Police Safety order at one of them.

April 5th:
- Domestic incident. Police safety order issued.
