Council to begin annual performance survey
April 29th, 2015
[TDC press release]
From this Friday until May 10th, Tasman District Council is conducting its annual survey of residents to find out how Tasman residents think it is performing.
The Council has commissioned National Research Bureau (NRB) to undertake the telephone survey.
"The Council plays a critical role in supporting and developing our communities through the activities and services we provide. We need to look closely at how well we are delivering our services to Tasman's communities now and into the future," said Mayor Richard Kempthorne.
"The residents' survey helps us to track our performance and hear the views of our community on what we do well and where we can improve. The best way to do this is through an independent and impartial interview of a representative cross-section of Tasman people."
"The results of the survey will be made public, form part of the Council's formal reporting and are a critical ingredient in planning for further improvements to our services. For this reason I ask all residents who are contacted please take the time to be involved".
Using a randomised selection method, NRB will telephone residents throughout the District and ask for their opinion on the services the Council delivers. The survey is totally confidential.
