Musicians are invited to come and busk at the Riwaka Market Day, to be held on Friday January 2nd from 9am to 3pm in the Riwaka Domain.
Run by the Motueka Pottery Workshop, the "craft, food and all sorts" market is one of the New Year's earliest annual events.
"We would like to invite some of the amazingly good musicians who sometimes play outside New World," says Mot Pots' Liz Mahoney.
If any of the Vanuatuan, Samoan and Tongan groups are free that day and feel like an audience, that would be fantastic. Just rock up."
To get a taste of what you could see from buskers, here's a YouTube clip of a at the Motueka Sunday market.
