Another art exhibition in Motueka businesses

July 29th, 2013

Anne Bannock is the next local artist to be promoted by four Motueka businesses as part of a programme supported by the Motueka Arts Council. (See our earlier story.)

Anne's art is now on show at Motueka's Sprig and Fern, Westpac Motueka, Steph Wills dental surgery and Riwaka Hair until 13th August. All her work is for sale.

Anne works from her studio/gallery "Meadowbank", which is located in an historic woolshed in the Orinoco Valley at Ngatimoti. Her paintings range from landscape to still life and in a variety of mediums and styles.

Recently she received her Honours Diploma for Art and Creativity from The Learning Connexion and she is currently working towards the Advanced Diploma (level 7).

"Although I still work in an illustrative style, I am enjoying searching for the essence of a subject to produce an abstract result," she says.

Meadowbank Gallery is open most days during the summer and at other times by arrangement.
