Tasman villagers complete underpass mural

October 4th, 2013

The pedestrian and cycle underpass beneath the state highway bypass near Harley Road beside Tasman village now sports bright images of the local birdlife.

Tasman residents with an artistic touch have completed the mural begun in August, including a coat of anti-graffiti material, and the scene is ready for cyclists who will begin to use it soon as part of the Great Taste Trail.

See the details in our earlier story here. Below are photos taken from the east side, the west side, and within the tunnel. Pretty simple and neat, but effective.
