Motueka A&P Show signs up major attraction

The Motueka A&P Association have scored a coup by attracting Geoff Thomas of TV3's "Outdoors with Geoff" to attend the December 8th annual show and be available to chat with the public.

The 2013 show is now in the final stages of preparation, and the committee have published the schedules for equestrian and non-equestrian competitions on this website.

The 2013 theme will be the Sea .... fishing, pirates, boating, sand, water, and summer! There will be lots of opportunity for fundraising by not-for-profit/sporting/school groups, and trade sites.

Geoff Thomas (pictured) is the ultimate image of a good Kiwi bloke. Renowned for his hunting and fishing skills, he’s the go-to guy when the Kiwi elite, from Rachel Hunter to Richie McCaw, want to escape to the great outdoors.

His popular TV3 programme "Outdoors with Geoff" celebrates its 15th series this year. Geoff has just written his 10th book, also titled "Outdoors With Geoff", and writes a regular column for the New Zealand Herald.

Show secretary Trish Palmer says "the Fishing and Hunting Expo at the show is also shaping up to be fantastic, and we are really excited!"

Musicians Harmony Aquarian ("New Zealand's Got Talent") and Cutty Wren have confirmed that they will be taking the stage during show day."
