Nominations finalised for local body elections

Nominations closed today for the local body elections, and we have the list of candidates that Motueka ratepayers will be voting for, as follows:

Mayor

* Edward Mark (Ted) O'Regan

Motueka Ward Councillor (3 members)
* Boris Leegwater
* Barry Frank Dowler
* Eileen Joan Wilkins
* Tara Kathleen Forde
* Jack Lawson Inglis

Motueka Community Board (4 members)
* David John Ogilvie
* Mark William Chapman
* Clifford Raymond Satherley
* Paul Henry William Hawkes
* David Victor Lelong

Voting will be by postal ballot. Those on the electoral roll will receive their voting papers in the period between September 17th and 22nd, and the ballot will close at 12 noon Saturday October 9th.
