Packed hall captivated by classy dance troupe
December 3rd, 2015
Memorial Hall was packed out on Tuesday night with over 500 people enjoying the upbeat presentation by the visiting international contemporary dance troupe Black Grace Dance.
The quality of the performance was a reflection not only on the dancers themselves but also on the light and sound capabilities of the hall, and on Mark Wentworth who engineered the hall upgrade a few years ago.
Black Grace received a standing ovation from the record crowd, made up of people from as far away as Blenheim, Central Otago and the West Coast visiting Motueka overnight.
Mark says "a big thanks to Motueka residents for supporting this class act". He took and sent Motueka Online this photo from the control booth at the hall. Have you ever seen so many Motueka people packed into one room?
