Another boost came to the Motueka Community Pool Fundraising Group this week with the signing up of a second sponsorship package.
Life Investments (2009) Limited have signed up for naming rights on the pool clock, which will be used often by competitive swimmers as well as the general public to check their training times.
Directors of Life Investments Charitable Trust, Willem Pienaar and Ross Troughton, have paid $5000 to secure this sponsorship.
Their Charitable Trust was set up specifically to help the Motueka community as a whole and they are very happy to be able to support the pool fundraising effort.
"The covering and heating of the Motueka pool is a very worthwhile community project and as such we are very happy to be sponsoring the clock," say Willem and Ross.
The Pool's first sponsorship package was received back in April 2016. Duncan Abrey of The Natural House Company signed up to sponsor a sign board, at the same time making a $500 donation.
Sue Clark, Treasurer/Event organiser for the pool fundraising group says "If any other company is keen to become a sponsor, now would be a good time to get signed up. Opportunities like this are limited."
