Tea anyone? What a cosy thought for winter! And now is the time for crafty people to create their entry for the Motueka Arts Council's winter Tea Cosy Competition.
As usual, we can expect a wonderful range of crafted and knitted creations, from the whimsical, whacky and humorous to the delicate and beautiful, with many original ideas along the way.
Entries to be in by Friday July 10th, and may be left at Potters Patch. Entry forms can be picked up at Potters Patch or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone the convenor Shirley Wallace on 526 7022.
Entries will be displayed in a tea-themed exhibition, to be held on Friday August 7th at St Thomas's Auditorium from 10.00am till 4.00pm, with prize giving at 3.00pm.
Tea cosies will be displayed along with other related objects like a teapot display put on by Crafty Tarts. They also hope to have old tea sets and tea cloths in their display.
