Bins out half-hour earlier from next week
November 27th, 2013
[Press release]
From next week, starting December 2nd, kerbside collections throughout the District for both rubbish and recycling will be collected from 7.30am - a change from the current time of 8.00am.
The earlier start time is to allow the Council’s partner Smart Environmental to get rubbish and recycling off the streets earlier, particularly heading into the busy summer season.
The exception to this start time is that business areas (e.g. High Street, Motueka, Commercial Street, Takaka, and Queen Street, Richmond) will now have their kerbside collections start no earlier than 8.30am.
