Big promotion to encourage local shopping

Our Town Motueka has organised a "Shop in Motueka" promotion over the coming two months, with a prize of over $5,000 in vouchers for products and services from local businesses.

The goal is to not only persuade Motueka people to patronise their own businesses, but also to encourage Nelson, Richmond, Tasman and Golden Bay residents to come and spend the day in Motueka.

OTM is touting Motueka's shopping advantages - fantastic products, great food and wine and incredible services, but also the experience of good old-fashioned hospitality, free parking and a relaxed shopping environment.

From March 25th to May 25th anyone making a purchase in one of the participating Motueka businesses will receive an entry into the "Shop & Win" draw. Entry forms are available in stores.

Shops participating include cafes, clothing stores, automotive shops, florists, health & beauty care, sporting good suppliers, adventure vouchers and a Vodafone Nokia C2 phone just to name a few.

The grand prize draw will take place on Wednesday, May 29th. One winner will be awarded the grand prize of over $5,000 in vouchers for products and services.
