Local community group contacts now online

A document of contact details for all volunteer-run Motueka community groups has been compiled by Vision Motueka and is available to view and download on the Motueka Online website.

The list of more than 60 groups and clubs (excluding sports clubs) is intended to help anyone wanting to quickly and easily make contact with a local group, and to encourage groups to connect with each other - one of the key goals of Vision Motueka.

Other directories - both print and online - provide contact details, such as the "Found" directory for the Top of the South, but with so many listings they are notoriously hard to keep up to date.

Vision Motueka's list will be checked at least annually to keep up with changes in committee office holders. It will also be easier to access as it contains listings only for Motueka and only for currently active groups.

Being a Word document, it can easily be updated, so if any group sees that their contact details have changed, or if their group has not been included, they can email to request amendments.

On Motueka Online, the list can be accessed from the home page, via a yellow box just below the "Photo of the Week" down the right hand side. It is also available on the page on this website set aside for the Newcomers Network, as well as the home page of Vision Motueka's website.
