Entries invited for Bride of the Year Hospice fundraiser

Calling all newlyweds! Entry is now open for the 2012 Bride of the Year fundraiser to be held on 14th July. If you were married since 1 June 2011, here's a chance to win great prizes and a fun reason to get back into your gown.

This annual event is a fundraiser for the Nelson Region Hospice, which runs the Hospice shop in Motueka and services Motueka in general.

Although held in the Hope Community Centre, the competition is open to entrants from Motueka and has several Motuekan sponsors. All funds raised are used locally. Last year more than $10,000 was raised from the Bride of the Year.

Entries are accepted anytime from now until 11th July, and entry forms can be obtained from Heather Harley, ph .

The show itself includes a Silent Auction. Tickets available from Astrolabe in High Street.
