Cult classic Rocky Horror Show comes to Motueka

Get out your horror outfits! Gecko Cinema has a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday September 3rd at 8.30, complete with all the trappings that this cult classic movie has attracted over its 30-plus years.

Ticket is $20 but Gecko staff are promising you get more than just a seat. You'll get a complimentary coatcheck to reveal your fantastic outfit at the last minute. You'll also get a complimentary drink on arrival as well as a goodie bag filled with props needed to participate to the film.

For those unfamiliar with the movie, the audience joins Janet and Brad as the happy couple drive away from Ohio, only to get lost in the rain. Looking for help, they stumble upon the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The most incredible night unfolds.

Fans of the cult movie will know what to expect and how to dress and act, and be part of the whole occasion. Gecko staff say, "Don't worry if it's your first time, help will be on hand". There will be prizes for best costumes.

After the movie is over the Sprig & Fern will be welcoming people for a post movie drink and looking forward to the more daring outfits.
