Schools benefit from Parkes Automotive promotion
September 21st, 2011
Parkes Automotive has raised $1355 for local schools and kindergartens through its winter promotion to donate $5 for each Warrant of Fitness done in their workshops.
Every person getting a WOF done at Parkes between June and August could name a school of choice which would receive their $5. Unsurprisingly, Parklands and Motueka High scored highest. The full list is as follows:
Brooklyn $75, Country Kids $30, Central Takaka $40, Dovedale $5, Grannys Place $55, Greenwood Kindy $60, Laura Ingram Kindy $10, Lower Moutere School $80, Mahana School $20, Mapua Playcentre $25, Motueka High School $180, Motueka Playcentre $10, Motueka South School $135, Ngatimoti School $90, Oasis Education $5, Parklands School $200, Riwaka School $135, Motueka Rudolf Steiner School $60, Motueka Rudolf Steiner Kindy $5, St Peter Chanel School $40, Tapawera Area School $15, Tasman Bay Christian School $75, Te Awhina Kohanga Reo $5.
Well done to the schools for gaining this support, and a special word of praise to Anita and Andrew and the team at Parkes Automotive for their community spirit and initiative.
