Motueka hosts colourful Good Vibes skydiving event
August 21st, 2011
Over the past four days Motueka has hosted New Zealand's largest annual skydiving event, with around 150 skydivers from around the world coming together in perfect blue-skies conditions to enjoy their adrenelin-charged sport.
In addition, on Friday evening those who braved the pre-frost chill enjoyed the public fireworks party put on by the hosts, Skydive Abel Tasman, with the help of some money from the Motueka Community Board.
Thanks to thoughtful Motueka Online readers Wendy Reeve (the first four photos) and SeniorNet camera class member Coralie Smith (the following four), we have some photos taken at the event. If you have others that you would like to add, please email them to sometime this week.
