Fishing gear available for people with disabilities
June 16th, 2011
Nelson-based CCS Disability Action has been gifted two sets of self-winding Shimano fishing reels and rods for use by people with disabilities in the Nelson Tasman region so that they can experience fishing without the strain of having to wind in their catch.
The equipment can be borrowed by anyone in the region whose disabilities prevent them from enjoying fishing. CCS Disability Action can be contacted at to discuss the process of borrowing one or both of these fishing rods.
