Marian Painter wins pastel scholarship

Motueka Art Club member Marian Painter recently won a scholarship from PANZ (Pastel Association New Zealand), which entitles her to tuition from a pastel tutor of her choice to a sum of $500.

The entry was based on a portfolio and resume of how the scholarship would enhance the winner's artistic development. Her main aim was to learn more about the basic skills to enable her to develop an expertise sufficient to start teaching beginner's pastel classes in the future.
