Paid extras wanted for filming at Kaiteriteri
October 20th
A German film producer is appealing to local would-be actors to play extras during filming of a German and NZ co-production that is being made in Kaiteriteri in coming weeks for German television.
GFC (Germany) Ltd production assistant Bonny Crayford wants to hear from local NZ residents or people holding a working visa, aged between 8 and 60 years, males and females, to act as extras in several roles, during filming over three days - Thursday October 28th, Saturday October 30th and Thursday November 4th.
The days are split into either half days (up to 6 hours) or full days (up to 10 hours). Extras will be used to fill various roles including demonstrators, geologists, children and police officers, plus some blonde people to play Norwegians. The police officers are very size specific to fit costume requirements, and they need males size 'large' and females size 12 to apply.
Bonny told Motueka Online: "What we really need is enthusiastic people who are interested in hanging out on a film set for a day and will obviously be paid for their hard work."
Those chosen will be paid, but you will need to apply before finding out how much. Interested? If so, you'll need to e-mail your name, age, phone number and a photo to Bonny at . She will be happy to answer any detailed questions from that point onward.

Thank you for your help. We did get a good response from your website, not entirely sure on the numbers, but definitely a good amount of the ones we have used so far. We are now sorted and don't need any more applicants, thanks.
