Balmy night for 2010 Starlight Parade

Motueka was treated to a balmy summer evening for the 2010 Starlight Parade on Friday, with about 40 floats to entertain the large crowd estimated at 4000 lining High Street. It was particularly pleasing to see so many young people and young families taking part and enjoying the event, which began in fading sunlight and ended lit by the shop and street lights.

Thanks from all the town to the people who took the trouble to create floats and parade groups to entertain the thousands watching, and our prize to the best effort goes to Steph Wills and her dental practice for their cool choreography while dressed as happy white teeth.
