Arts Council offers winter workshop series
July 1st, 2010
The Motueka Arts Council has published the full programme for its popular winter workshop series, offering the usual wide range of interesting arts-related courses. It's an opportunity to learn new skills and have fun as you learn, while helping the winter days to hurry past faster.
Belly dancing, garden design, photography, morris dancing, life drawing, introduction to screen printing and fabric painting, and photo framing are the new topics for this year's series.
Old favourites like basket making, felting, watercolour painting, writing, stone carving, and terracotta garden art are back again. And some like floral arrangements, mosaics, fabric dolls, singing (with Barbie Cole) and drumming that have been off the scene for a year or two are making a reappearance.
The courses begin mid July and continue until mid-September. You can view and print off the whole programme (and registration forms) on this website, by clicking here. The Motueka Hospice shop also is hosting a window display advertising all courses.
