The group meets every Wednesday 9.30am until 12pm at Bridge Club Hall, Tudor St, Motueka

Membership: $15 annually and $3 per week or $5 if there is a tutor.
Our weekly painting mornings aim to share and develop skills and experiences with all mediums. There is a tutor or workshop each month and plenty of fun and learning to be had. New members are welcome.

This month we held our AGM which was well attended and some very positive ideas were proposed for the coming year. Ron Tippett stays as our president and treasurer. Jean McNabb has left the committee after two years of input. Thanks to Jean for all her support and hard work. Other committee members continue there good work.
Steve Turner gave a brief talk on his new love of Pen and Wash. One of his pictures is shown below.
Later this month we have a tutorial from Fleur Woods and a Day workshop with Christchurch artist Quilliam Collister. So look out for some more stunning images!
In March we had two workshops.
Glenys from the Art Shop - Impressions came and brought her 'mobile shop' and also gave a most informative talk on coloured pencils. We didn't realize just how varied and versatile this medium is.
We had a great tutorial from Mike Howell on Kowhaiwhai. He was most inspiring and you can see a few of the works that members achieved below.
